Director of Customer Experience

Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on and strategic Director of Customer Experience to build and scale our post-sales operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, this individual will own Customer Success, Professional Services, Technical Support, and Account Management, with an initial focus on preventing churn, accelerating onboarding, and driving net revenue retention (NRR) by ensuring our customers achieve their goals.

This is a rare opportunity to join a high-growth company at an inflection point, where you’ll create the playbook for post-sales operations and build a team that delivers measurable outcomes for our customers. You’ll work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure seamless customer journeys and long-term advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Success

  • Build and execute customer success strategies to ensure customers achieve their goals, driving product adoption, satisfaction, and long-term value.
  • Proactively engage with customers to prevent churn and foster advocacy.
  • Develop scalable processes for onboarding, health monitoring, renewals, and advocacy.

Professional Services

  • Build and manage a high-performing services team to lead customer onboarding, deployment, and training engagements.
  • Define service packages and delivery methodologies to support a wide variety of enterprise environments.
  • Ensure successful and timely implementation projects that deliver measurable business outcomes for customers.

Technical Support

  • Own the end-to-end customer support experience, including SLAs, escalation management, and continuous improvement.
  • Hire, train, and manage a global support team to deliver 24/7 mission-critical technical assistance.
  • Implement systems and processes for efficient ticketing, knowledge base growth, and root cause analysis.

Account Management

  • Hire and lead a small team of account managers focused on renewals, expansion, and executive-level relationships.
  • Collaborate with Sales to develop joint account strategies and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Ensure customer feedback is continuously looped back into the Product and Engineering organizations.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to advocate for customer needs and influence roadmap priorities.
  • Report on key KPIs including NPS, time-to-resolution, services delivery metrics, and growth revenue.
  • Represent the customer experience function in executive meetings and contribute to board-level reporting.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in customer-facing leadership roles, with experience scaling teams in high-growth B2B environments.
  • Proven ability to build and lead multi-disciplinary teams, ideally across Success, Services, Support, and Account Management.
  • Demonstrated success creating scalable processes and driving measurable improvements in NRR and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience working with technical products and enterprise customers, familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud-native or DevOps environments is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with a metrics-driven mindset.
  • Excellent executive presence and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across time zones and global customer bases.

Senior Frontend Engineer

Sidero Labs is a small but growing company revolutionizing Kubernetes with our innovative SaaS and Kubernetes-focused Linux Operating System. We’re on a mission to make Kubernetes easy, secure, and usable, and we’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our passionate team and help us elevate our products to the next level.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the development and maintenance of the front-end architecture for our products, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, creating responsive UIs, and ensuring the scalability and stability of our web applications.

This is a full-time remote role with the option to work from anywhere, though candidates in European time zones are preferred. We’re looking for someone with a strong background in modern front-end technologies, especially Vue 3, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, to help us build beautiful and functional web applications.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, your primary focus will be supporting and enhancing the Omni UI. You’ll be responsible for implementing designs for new features, improving existing user interfaces, and working closely with backend engineers to ensure a seamless and cohesive user experience.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer who can provide guidance on best practices and help us make the most of the technologies we use in our projects.

Qualifications:

  • Computer Science and Software Development skills.
  • Strong background in front-end development with a focus on Vue 3, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Familiarity with the unit and functional tests frameworks: Jest, Playwright.
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and integrating with back-end systems.
  • Open-source development experience (GitHub profile or equivalent is a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for building smooth, intuitive user experiences.
  • Any backend development experience (Golang in particular) is a plus.

Senior Software Engineer

Sidero Labs is a small but growing company revolutionizing Kubernetes with our innovative SaaS and Kubernetes focussed Linux Operating System. We’re on a mission to make Kubernetes easy, secure and usable, and we’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our passionate team and help us to the next level.

Sidero Labs develops two main projects: Talos Linux and Omni. Talos Linux is a minimal secure immutable operating system to run Kubernetes clusters, while Omni streamlines management of clusters built on top of Talos Linux.

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Software Engineer at Sidero Labs, Inc. We can hire at any location, but the preference will be for candidates in the European or U.S. time zones. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for development of both Omni and Talos Linux, and other projects. The role will involve tasks related to developing and maintaining software solutions, optimizing performance, ensuring scalability, adding automated integration tests, handing user questions, etc.

Qualifications

  • Computer Science and Software Development skills
  • Experience in Back-End Development and/or Linux Development
  • Proficiency in Go programming language (experience in front-end development is a plus)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Deep knowledge and practical experience in network-based solutions
  • Open-Source development experience (GitHub profile or equivalent)
  • Hands-on experience in Linux
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies
