Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve issues affecting performance of internal or customer environments.
  • Continuously improve system monitoring and alerting capabilities.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure availability for our users.

For our customers, you can expect to:

  • Assist in the deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Omni, Talos Linux, and Kubernetes in client on-premises environments.
  • Carry out architecture reviews, custom development, and proof of concept implementations for professional services customers.
  • Finding ways to improve the deployment flow of our products within airgapped or bandwidth-limited environments.
  • Handle the monitoring, upgrade, and ongoing management of Kubernetes clusters for fully managed customers.
  • Deep dive and solve customer-specific issues, while shepherding any needed fixes through our development processes.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers.
  • Document technical procedures and user guides for clients.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, Customer Success Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems and cloud technologies.
  • Proficient with Kubernetes and infrastructure automation tools like Terraform.
  • Experience in programming, preferably with Go.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
